At S & R Truck Driving Institute (SRTDI), we recognize that the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle requires structured training, practice, and demonstrated competency. For this reason, all students are required to complete the full program clock hours as outlined in the approved curriculum, whether enrolled full-time or part-time.
Schedules may vary; however, program completion is based on clock hour requirements and mastery of required skills not speed of progression. SRTDI does not shorten or waive required training hours.
This expectation is grounded in institutional data and daily instructional experience. Students enter the program with varying levels of prior knowledge, skill, and experience. Some progress more quickly, while others require additional guided practice and reinforcement. The program structure is intentionally designed to ensure that all students receive sufficient instructional time and hands-on experience necessary to meet performance objectives and safety standards.
There are no shortcuts in professional driver training. Safe, competent drivers are developed through time, consistency, accountability, and structured instruction.
